Custom Furniture Return Policy

Due to the bespoke nature of our custom furniture, our return policy differs from standard retail policies. All furniture is made to order according to your specific requirements and cannot be resold to other customers.

Return Time Frame

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. This period begins when you or a designated recipient takes possession of the furniture. Late return requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Conditions for Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following circumstances:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Structural flaws, finish defects, or workmanship issues
  • Damage During Shipping: Items damaged in transit (must be reported within 48 hours)
  • Incorrect Specifications: Furniture that doesn't match approved design specifications
  • Material Defects: Defective materials that affect functionality or appearance

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return:

  • Our Responsibility: We cover all costs for manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or specification errors
  • Customer Responsibility: Customer covers costs for returns due to change of mind or incorrect measurements provided by customer
  • Shared Responsibility: Costs may be shared for design misunderstandings or communication issues

Return Process

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  2. Provide Details: Include order number, photos of issues, and detailed description
  3. Return Authorization: Wait for our return authorization number (RMA) before shipping
  4. Packaging: Use original packaging or equivalent protective materials
  5. Shipping: Ship to our designated return facility with tracking
  6. Inspection: We inspect returned items within 5-7 business days

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom furniture made to customer's exact specifications (unless defective)
  • Items with personalized engravings or custom finishes
  • Furniture damaged by customer misuse or normal wear
  • Items returned without prior authorization
  • Furniture altered or modified after delivery
  • Items returned after 30 days from delivery

Order Cancellation Policy

Order cancellations are subject to the following terms:

  • Before Production: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
  • During Production: Partial refund based on work completed
  • After Completion: No cancellation allowed, return policy applies
  • Rush Orders: May incur additional cancellation fees

Refund Procedure

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • Approval: We'll notify you of refund approval or denial
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Partial Refunds: May apply for items not in original condition

Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our products, exchanges are limited to:

  • Replacement of defective items with identical specifications
  • Color or finish changes (subject to additional costs and time)
  • Size adjustments (if technically feasible, additional costs apply)

Warranty vs. Returns

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for the specified warranty period. Returns are for immediate issues, while warranty claims cover defects that appear over time. See your purchase agreement for specific warranty terms.
